Dawid Falck - He loves his job (& lots of other things!)
Dawid Falck is the proud CEO of Australia's most awarded digital learning company.
Under Dawid's leadership, TheCyberInstitute has established a global customer base
and now counts most of Australia's top brands as clients. The team has also earned
a reputation for being the “go to” people for effective mining induction
programs.
Before joining TheCyberInstitute, Dawid held several senior roles at Vodafone in
Australia and New Zealand, including state general manager (with responsibility
for Queensland & NT).
His earlier career spanned the IT sector, including roles at Datacom (New Zealand),
Infinity Solutions (New Zealand) & Netscope (South Africa). A qualified teacher,
Dawid also taught special needs education in Romford, England.
Dawid loves his team and is passionate about professional management and people
leadership. He was quietly thrilled when his team nominated him for AIM's Manager
of the Year award in 2011. The sentiment has been echoed throughout his career,
including achieving a boost to staff engagement of more than 20% while he was Vodafone's
State GM.
Dawid is an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, a director
of the Queensland Ballet Company and a member and director of the Australian Israel
Chamber of Commerce.
Dawid is passionate about people and he loves teaching. He is currently completing
a Masters of Business Administration. He describes himself as an explorer, who loves
reading history, archaeology, jazz, surfing, 4WD adventures and (most of all) his
wife and two children.
